In the third quarter of 2024, the Books and Reference category on the unified platform in Turkey showcased notable performances from five leading applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Storytel - Audiobooks & Books saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $51K in early August and late September. The app's downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 16.2K in the week of August 19, while its active users showed a growth trend, peaking at nearly 295K in early September before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.

Dreame-Read Romance Stories experienced a peak in weekly revenue in the first week of August, reaching about $19.6K. Although downloads decreased from a high of 15.7K in mid-July to 5.1K by the end of September, the app maintained a steady active user base, peaking at over 61K in early July.

GALATEA: Novels & Audiobooks recorded a significant rise in revenue in late July, peaking at approximately $9.2K. Weekly downloads showed a peak in late July as well, reaching 8.8K, while active users hit a maximum of nearly 39.1K in the same period before experiencing a gradual decline towards the end of September.

Fictio - Good Novels, Stories saw a remarkable increase in revenue, hitting a peak of around $9.9K in late August. Downloads rose to 2.6K in mid-September, and active users grew steadily, reaching almost 4K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Wattpad - Read & Write Stories maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads reaching a peak of 59.4K in mid-July. Despite a decline in revenue, from $4.6K in early July to under $1K in early September, the app sustained a large active user base, peaking at over 3.1M in mid-July.
